contest

Well, we're at 9 1/2 weeks and still surviving morning sickness-that-lasts-all day. Making it to work every day has been consuming the bulk of my energy and Joe has been SuperDad/SuperHusband the last few weeks, doing all childcare and house chores. So, no clever posts. I can't even just put up some pictures because I forgot my camera in Lewiston. It has now fallen into the hands of Team Eddy and who knows when it will escape their clutches.

So, I thought I'd post some highlights from our last pregnancy for nostalgia's sake.
A Night in the Life of a Pregnant Woman
How to be a Great Husband to a Pregnant Woman
What NOT to say to your pregnant wife
Don't tell me that

For you long-time readers, feel free to nominate your favorite pregnancy post. A winner will be selected at random.

Mine is definitely the "What NOT to say to your pregnant wife," considering that I was the friend on the other end of the phone...praying I wouldn't hear Joe crashing through the Kaufman front door next! :) Eric was told promptly afterward that any tempting pig to preggie comparisons are NOT allowed at our house either!

Hang in there jen! And by the way you are being good birth control for me. Your posts remind me of my pregnancies. I want another baby but then I remember the 9 months of vomiting and getting fat and I want a baby less. Hope you are fitting some fun into your summer. Thanks for bringing back the exersaucer. Sorry I was not home. I would love to do lunch one day. Let me know if you have a good day!

Phenergan (I'm sure I spelled it wrong) became my very best friend when I was pregnant with Andrew. I vomited just about every day for 9 months. I on the really bad days I took it and tried not to sleep through the day. With Caleb, I stopped the prenatals and took 2 Flinstones a day. Morning sickness stopped with-in a couple of days. I hope you get over it soon and can enjoy pregnancy - as much as any woman can enjoy gaining weight, swelling, and being kicked and uncomfortable for the next several months!

You're doing great friend. Keep up the good work. (And Joe too!)

I'm definitely voting for the 4-h one.

I loved reviewing your old posts!!! Thanks for that treat! You're almost through the first trimester... hang in there!
I have to say, I really like the 'What NOT to say to your pregnant wife' best.
My husband had a good one a couple of days ago.
Me: 'honey, I just feel really pudgy right now' (I do dislike the first part of pregnancy when you just look like you ate way too much, but you're not quite looking prego yet)
Bryan: 'Well dear, you are.'
HMMM... thanks... wasn't quite the response I was looking for!!!
