Happy birthday Sam! It is hard to believe that you are nine years old today. You have grown into an insightful, caring big brother. You have a wisdom about relationships beyond your years and even occasionally remind your mother how to work effectively with your sister. This year, you started playing the guitar and have a natural knack for the instrument, which is good, because sometimes our dedication to practice wanes. You continue to be absent minded and remembering your daily homework continues to be a challenge, but you often will use that absent-minded creativity to build new Lego machines or create new inventions. You joined the swim team this year and are a fish! Your love of the outdoors and adventure grows and you have become your mama's favorite backpacking buddy.
We are so blessed that you are a part of our family. Your kind friendship is a blessing to everyone in your life, especially to your parents. We love you so much.
